Lazy Sunday

Wow. It was hard to believe that we still had another day of rest up our sleeves. It was a lazy Sunday morning, we said goodbye to Peter, our security officer, who was finishing his contract and just sat around for most of the day. Love a good Lazy Sunday...(this is an old Saturday Night Live digital short for those not familiar...)

Then it was badminton o'clock. We had two hours booked and knew it was only going to be the two of us, so we had a few really good games. Yes, Nicole's domination is clear and apparent (even with a head cold), but I did beat her once. The MSF guys rocked up as well, so we challenged them to a doubles!! I blame Nicole's head cold.

We were very excited about getting home because our selection of fine meats, cheeses, olives and incredible four seed bread awaited. I remember when I went to Barcelona and had one of those headphone tour guides around Gaudi's Casa Batllo, and the woman kept saying "This is the most AMAZING fireplace you'll EVER see," and "this is the most AMAZING staircase EVER built". I have always scoffed at the voice guide as the WORST guide EVER recorded, but I was emulating it perfectly yesterday evening. I couldn't stop saying how it was the BEST prosciutto I'd EVER tasted, and the TASTIEST olives that EVER existed...I know deep down that they probably weren't the best ever, but believe me when I say, *drrrrrrrooooooooooooooollllllll*...
